I created my dermatological practice Ahava (meaning love) to embody my personal commitment to each patient and my passion for integrative, holistic and state of the art skin care. At Ahava Dermatology, we create an experience that goes beyond a traditional visit—every appointment is a partnership in helping you achieve radiant, healthy skin.

Though my roots are in Brooklyn, I’ve made South Florida, my home for over 25 years. South Florida’s energy has shaped my life and practice, from the warmth of its people to the tropical elements that I believe nourish our skin. I’ve fully embraced the Miami lifestyle (and yes, I’m fluent in Spanish!), and I’m grateful every day for the inspiring natural surroundings here. My favorite “off-the-clock” moments involve being outdoors—whether jogging along the beach, paddle boarding, or simply spending time with my three children.

About Dr. Cheryl “Shaindy” Aber

Dr. Cheryl Aber is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a leading dermatologist in South Florida with over twenty years of experience. Her deep seated passion for integrated health took root at Cornell University, where she graduated with honors with a BS in Nutritional Sciences. She completed her medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC and her dermatological residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. With a constant curiosity about developments in the field, Dr Aber has continued researching the latest skincare treatments and interventions and published dozens of articles in top medical publications. She is featured in Top Doctors of America.
